Meet Jordan:
Jordan is the youngest Smith brother and was one of Australia’s best junior tennis players. He developed a love of tennis from a very early age and started learning to play from the age of three from his dad, Neil. Jordan’s first comp was in the HDTA Saturday Morning Juniors when he was only seven years old! He won two National junior singles and three National junior doubles titles between 2008 and 2012, as well as many other junior and open titles.
Jordan attended Oakhill College where he captained the Oakhill College First V tennis team to the state title in 2014. In 2015/2016 he studied at and played tennis for Gonzaga University in Washington State, USA, which is an NCAA Division 1 College on an athletic scholarship. When Covid put a halt on playing overseas for two years he concentrated on coaching. In 2022 he travelled to Asia and Africa playing in Futures tournaments, reaching a career high ATP singles ranking of #1141 and doubles ranking of #748.
Jordan is also a member of the successful Hills District Badge and Premier League Teams alongside his brothers and father.
Jordan is a Tennis Australia Club Professional coach.
He has been coaching children and adults of all levels of ability for over twelve years and aims to help and share his knowledge from his past playing experiences to aid players in their development. He strives for every player to become the best player they can be.
